Reverse osmosis is a continuous operating treatment technology that separates impurities from water by using pressure to pass water through a thin membrane. This thin membrane has pores small enough to allow pure water to pass through while rejecting larger molecules, such as dissolved salts and other impurities. It produces highly purified water for drinking water systems, food and beverage processing, industrial boilers, cosmetics, seawater desalination, and many other applications. It has been a recognized technology for more than a century and has been commercialized since the 1960s.
An advanced continuous flow reverse osmosis system that can be used for residential or commercial applications.
CARBONBLOCK-TS3 is the first-ever activated carbon filter, combined with titansorb crystalline powder for high capacity of heavy metal removal. The main benefits include a high rate of removal of organic materials and self-regeneration through its photocatalytic properties.
CARBONBLOCK-TS3 cartridges are considered the most advanced method for reducing a broad spectrum of toxic contaminants based on organics and inorganics, including prescription drugs and BPA.
CARBONBLOCK-TS3 cartridges implement two different filtration stages, combining activated carbon and titansorb with electro-kinetic adsorption and physicochemical adsorption. Titansorb-P is most effective due to its high photocatalytic activity, chemical stability, nontoxic nature, and high absorption capacity.
CARBONBLOCK-TS3 removes 99% of heavy metals from water contaminated with
Many articles on the Internet claim Reverse Osmosis is not recommended because it removes beneficial minerals and may leach onto the minerals in your body. It is important to look at the source of these articles, as many are sponsored by specific name-brand filters looking to get their names out there. Some of the minerals in the water, such as calcium and magnesium, sound healthy, but they are in a crushed rock form and cannot be absorbed by the body. The body gets its nutrients from the foods that we eat, such as plants that have digested the crushed rock minerals into a form that the body can now break down. If you want to get nutrients from your water, it is best to start with a clean slate. We recommend drinking purified water, which is produced by reverse osmosis. Once the water is filtered, you can then add your own vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes. Water, by definition, is hydrogen and oxygen and hydrates the body. A remineralizer (filter) can be added to put minerals back into your water, however, it is recommended to use your own, which gives you control of what you are putting into your body.
While all water filters remove contaminants, they don’t all remove every type of contaminant found in our water systems. Water contaminants fall into one of four categories:
Physical contaminants include:
Some physical contaminants may be from the water delivery system, such as rust in pipes. Chemical contaminants may be chemicals produced naturally or developed and used by different companies.
Radiological contaminants are less common than the other three types of contaminants. Biological contaminants, which are forms of bacteria and viruses, are difficult to remove from water. In some cases, filtration alone may not be sufficient. Therefore, some types of water filters are not designed to remove biological contaminants.
Common filters, such as your refrigerator filter, pitcher type, and sink adaptor types, are made with Granular Activated Carbon (GAC). Carbon may filter out things like chlorine, lead, and other contaminants. The problem is that carbon creates a feeding ground for bacteria, which can lead to costly maintenance when having to change filters frequently.
Hardware stores and online companies may offer less expensive options; however, these options may not be enough for today’s water.
Water softeners were invented in the early 1900s using synthetic resin to address the hardness of the water. Softeners were created to handle the water at that time. Our water has changed, but the technology has remained the same. The resins in softeners address some of the hardness in the water but quickly wear out due to the chlorine and chloramines most commonly found in municipal water supplies. As the resins wear out, they leak back into your pipes. Resins also do not address other contaminants such as chlorine, heavy metals, and many others found in the water.

While commonly added to promote dental health, fluoride in drinking water can accumulate over time and potentially contribute to long-term health concerns such as weakened bones or thyroid issues when present in excess, making it important to maintain balanced levels for overall well-being.
Heavy metals in drinking water are harmful due to their toxicity, potential to cause organ damage, developmental issues, cancer, and bioaccumulation, posing significant health risks, especially to vulnerable populations.
Chlorine in drinking water, while effective for disinfection, can cause unpleasant taste and odor, skin and eye irritation, and long-term exposure to its byproducts may increase the risk of certain cancers and other health issues.
Ammonia in drinking water, though used in small amounts for disinfection, can lead to unpleasant taste and odor, irritate the skin, eyes, and respiratory system, and potentially form harmful byproducts like chloramines, which pose long-term health risks.
