Fluoride effects many tissues in the body beside the teeth. Top off everything else, there is no discernible difference in tooth decay between developed countries that fluoridate (minority) their water and those that do not, according to the World Health Organization.

Fluoride continues to build up in our bodies over our lifetime and is not easily removed. Our body can only process out about half. By the time we are elderly, our bones have become brittle, and are easily broken from a lifetime of fluoride dosage in our toothpaste, processed food, water and shower.

According to the CDC as of 2010, 41 percent of kids ages 12 to 15 had some form of dental fluorosis (fluoride overdose). In fact, fluoride is not considered to have any positive benefit to individuals over 16 years of age. Fluoride is not recommended for children under 3 year’s old, pregnant women, and the elderly.

Lower IQs in children: One study published in the fall of 2012 in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives found a link between high fluoride levels found naturally in drinking water in China and elsewhere in the world, and lower IQs in children. The paper looked at the results of 27 different studies, 26 of which found a link between high-fluoride drinking water and lower IQ.
A former US EPA senior scientist William Hirzy published a peer reviewed risk analysis. He followed the EPA risk assessment guidelines to report: “indicates there may be no actual safe level of exposure to fluoride”. The data showed intake in excess of about 0.05 mg of fluoride daily may result in depressed intellectual capability.
In 1981, Dean Burk, for many decades Chief Chemist at the US National Cancer Institute, testified at congressional hearings, reporting that at least 40,000 cancer deaths in 1981 were attributable to fluoride. 40,000 cases that could have been prevented simply by NOT putting industry waste into the public water supply. Burk stated that fluoride causes more cancer, and causes it faster, than any other chemical.
“It is difficult to see how EPA can fail to regulate fluoride as a carcinogen in light of what NTP has found. Osteosarcomas are an extremely unusual result in rat carcinogenicity tests. Toxicologists tell me that the only other substance that has produced this is radium. The fact that this is a highly atypical form of cancer implicates fluoride as the cause. Also, the osteosarcomas appeared to be dose-related, and did not occur in controls, making it a clean study.”

Fluoride Action Network (FAN) launched a nationwide billboard and poster campaign warning parents that fluoride, served to over 270 million Americans in their tap water, and often mixed with infant formula, was labeled a developmental neurotoxicant in 2014; was linked to Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder: and has 45 published papers associating exposure to fluoride with reduced IQ in children.

Fluoride is an Endocrine Disruptor that can affect your bones, brain, thyroid gland, pineal gland and even your blood sugar levels.
There have been over 34 human studies and 100 animal studies linking fluoride to brain damage. Studies have shown that fluoride toxicity can lead to a wide variety of health problems, including: Thyroid dysfunction, Endocrine dysfunction, Arthritis, Bone Disease, ADHD, Cancer, Dementia, Muscle disorders, Damaged sperm and increased infertility, Genetic damage and cell death …. and SO MANY MORE.
Fluoride and iodine are both halogens. Fluoride, the negative ion of the element fluorine, easily displaces iodine in the body because it is much lighter and therefore more reactive. “Iodine deficiency” is now recognized as the most common cause of preventable brain damage and mental disability in the world today.
Fluoride is a highly toxic substance. Look into the millions of people throughout China and India who now suffer serious crippling bone diseases from drinking water with elevated levels of fluoride.
People vary considerably in their sensitivity to any toxic substance, including fluoride. Infants, the elderly, diabetics, those with poor nutrition (e.g. low calcium and low iodine), and those with kidney disease are especially vulnerable to specific adverse effects of fluoride. Certain minority groups have a higher prevalence of the more severe forms of dental fluorosis (see Table 23, CDC, 2005).

There are also several studies linking aluminum with fluoride, showing that the bioavailability of aluminum is increased in the presence of fluorides, causing aluminum in the brain to double in treated animals. According to an October 28, 1992 Wall Street Journal Article about a study conducted by Varnier JA, et al.: “Rats fed the highest doses developed irregular mincing steps characteristic of senile animals… Post mortem examination of the rat brains disclosed ‘substantial cell loss in structures associated with dementia — the neo-cortex and hippocampus’.” Similar data was published by Varner, Jansen and others in Brain Research in 1998. (Note: Alzheimer’s Disease, first diagnosed by Dr. Alois Alzheimer in 1907, is now the #4 killer for every person over 60 in the US. Every 2nd person over 70 will develop Alzheimer’s.)
